Kevbot9000 From The Year 2020 - Pt. 1

As we approach the actual year 2020 I am faced with the question: What even happens to Kevbot 9000 from the year 2020 when it becomes that time? Well..... It's a bit odd really, you see it's like those old timey sci-fi movies where the year 2000 seemed so far away and we'd all be living with jetpacks and flying cars. Sure there has been progress towards both, but it's nowhere near the kind of future imagined. I had begun to come up with a backstory for ol' Kevbot9000 a long time ago and I've just kind of strung it all together with bull shit and silly putty from that point on. I'd like to nail down a bit more of a concrete story for my alias.

Ahh the beginnings, everything seemed so simple back then. Corporations may have held major sway in lawmaking, but it was still handled largely by those who were at least paid to pretend to give a shit about the populace. So the government of merchants began with a simple, seemingly harmless thought of beginning the work on a robot/human cyborg hybrid to usher in a new era of immortality.
